Conception And Pregnancy Tips

Having a baby is a roller coaster ride.  It is full of amazing joys to which there is no comparison.  It is also full of challenges along the way.  Challenges in getting pregnant and challenges in each stage of pregnancy.  All of these changes are worth while but if you know what to expect, they can be easier to manage.

Getting pregnant can prove to be one of the most challenging part of pregnancy for some couples.  it is more common than you might think to have some level of difficulty getting pregnant.  If you want to know how to get pregnant fast, getting back to the basics and being persistent can really help.  The first thing you will need to do is to determine when you ovulate each month.  There are  a few methods to determine this but the simplest and perhaps the most accurate is to get an ovulation prediction kit from your local drug store.  The next step is to start having sex with your partner each day for the five days leading up to your ovulation.  Sperm can live in your cervix for up to five days so this will ensure that you have as much stored up as possible.  Also be sure not to over do it.  If you have sex more than one or twice per day during this five day period, it could potentially reduce your partner’s sperm count.  After you have sex, be sure to continue to lie down on your back for about fifteen minutes after.  This will give the semen a chance to make its way into your cervix.

Once you become pregnant, you will experience all kinds of pregnancy related symptoms.  Everything from fatigue, mood swings to food cravings and heartburn.  Heartburn is one that can be particularly uncomfortable but is relatively easy to soothe.  Although you may have restrictions on what medication is safe to take during pregnancy there are plenty of home remedies for heartburn relief. One thing that most people don’t think of is to try to eat several small meals throughout the day rather than the typical three large meals.  This prevents your stomach from ever getting over full.  You can also try eating a spoonful of plain yogurt after each meal and when you experience discomfort from heartburn.  Whenever you lie down you should try to keep your head propped up with a few pillows to keep your head above your stomach.

These tips will help to curb the frustration and discomfort that you might experience during your pregnancy or while trying to get pregnant.  Just remember to be persistent and take the time to enjoy the good parts.  This is a very special time in your life that you will always look fondly on.
